Daonil 5 mg

Contains the active ingredient : Glibenclamide 5 mg which is an antidiabetic drug belonging to the group of medicines called sulfonylureas. It works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the pancreas.

It is used to manage glucose levels in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, particularly in patients who did not respond well to dietary measures alone. This medication is typically used in combination with lifestyle changes. Glibenclamide is not used to treat type 1 diabetes.
